Calisthenics Queensland is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for every child and young person who participates in our sport. We place the safety and wellbeing of children at the centre of all we do and maintain a zero‑tolerance approach to child abuse, harm, or neglect.
We are dedicated to creating spaces where children feel respected, supported, and heard. Their views, experiences, and ideas are valued, and we actively encourage them to speak up, ask questions, and participate in decisions that affect them.
As the state governing body, we uphold the Queensland Child Safe Standards and require all member clubs, coaches, volunteers, and officials to share this commitment. We work continuously to strengthen our policies, training, and practices to ensure that children’s rights, safety, and wellbeing are protected at all times.
This commitment is publicly displayed to affirm our responsibility to every child in our community and to ensure families can trust that calisthenics in Queensland is a safe place to grow, learn, and thrive.
Further details relating to how Child Safety is implemented within calisthenics in Queensland can be found in our policies and code of conduct.
